After nearly sixty years in Miami Beach, the longstanding public accounting firm relocates to the city’s new urban core
In a move designed to accommodate the firm’s continued growth and keep pace with Miami’s progression as an urban metropolis, Gerson Preston has relocated its Miami headquarters from Miami Beach to the Design District. The firm’s new office, located on the fourth floor of 4770 Biscayne Boulevard, encompasses 12,000 square-feet of fully renovated space in the heart of Miami’s new urban core.

Founded by Gary Gerson in 1959, the firm has grown from a one-man accounting shop to a full-service public accounting firm encompassing more than 75 professionals across South Florida. Steve adds that as a reminder of the firm’s history and commitment to the community, the main conference room will feature a photo of Gerson Hall at the University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting. As the only free-standing accounting school in the country, the building was dedicated to Gary Gerson in 2004.
The new office which features contemporary design in accordance with environmentally sustainable principles, including LED lighting and motion detection to reduce energy consumption. Additionally, flat screen TV’s are featured in every office with full presentation capabilities and the firm’s has upgraded all IT functions to include full cloud capability with enhanced security.
