Dr. Carole Ann Creque
HOPE Outreach Center, a Davie-based nonprofit community organization founded in 1995, has elected Dr. Carole Ann Creque as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dr. Creque is currently a professor at Nova Southeastern University, where she teaches marketing to both undergraduate and post-graduate students.
Dr. Creque has more than 15 years’ experience in corporate marketing and management and has instructed students full time in that subject area at both Nova Southeastern University and University of Mary Washington in Virginia. Her previous roles at Nova Southeastern University include Director of Marketing and Community Liaison for Clinical Operations, Assistant Director – Office of Business Services and Assistant Director of Research Systems, where she performed donor research and profiling.
In the nonprofit sphere, Dr. Creque has served on HOPE Outreach Center’s Board of Directors for the past three years. She has additional experience as a Facilitator for the Children Services Council of Broward County from 2002-2003, and, in 2013, was a Guardian Ad Litem for Broward County.
“Dr. Creque’s unique skills blend the passion of helping others with the marketing knowledge that will extend HOPE’s reach even further into Broward County,” said HOPE Executive Director Helen Shinners.
Dr. Creque earned her Doctorate in Business Administration with concentrations in marketing and management and an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from Nova Southeastern University, Davie, FL. She completed her undergraduate studies at Edgewood College, Madison, WI where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Business and Spanish and an Associate’s degree in Secondary Education.
Founded 20 years ago, HOPE Outreach Center offers an immediate 'hand up' to people in the community who find themselves suddenly unable to make ends meet due to: job loss, disability, health crisis, and/or some other emergency circumstance.
