Center for Family Services Adds Gail A. Horvath to Its Board

Center for Family Services is proud to announce the addition of Gail A. Horvath to its Board of Directors.

Horvath will bring an abundance of financial experience and insight to the board with her many years of career experience in wealth management.

As Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the PNC Wealth Management FloridaEast region, Horvath oversees the client team of wealth management professionals. Through her leadership, Horvath ensures that clients benefit from a full complement of investment, trust,financial planning, and private banking services.

Previous to relocating to Florida from Pennsylvania, Horvath most recently was Senior Vice President and Eastern Region Banking Director for PNC Wealth Management. A financial services professional with more than 40 years of experience, she joined PNC Wealth Management in 1998 as a Senior Client Advisor, and specialized as a Senior Credit Advisor for several years.

She held the position of Banking Services Director for the New Jersey Market and Team Director for the Northern New Jersey Market before assuming responsibility as Managing Director for the Northeastern Pennsylvania Market in January 2010. Her responsibilities were expanded to include the Central Pennsylvania Market in early 2013.

Prior to joining PNC, Horvath was a Senior Relationship Manager for CoreStates Financial Services Group in Short Hills, NJ. She also worked as a Private Banking Officer for First Fidelity Bank in Newark, where she completed a comprehensive banking and credit training program.

She is a magna cum laude graduate of Caldwell College in Caldwell, New Jersey and a Certified Financial Planner. A former member of the Board of Trustees of the Everhart Museum in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Horvath has also served on Caldwell College Board of Trustees and on the Board of the Community Theatre at Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown New Jersey. She has also been a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, and the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

About the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County: The Center for Family Services is a non-profit social service organization whose goal is to end the generational cycle of family violence, protecting the child and strengthening the family. The organization’s wide range of services in the community include an emergency homeless shelter for families with children, Employee Assistance Program, Individual and Family Counseling, a Recovery Program for substance and alcohol abuse and a home-based Family Therapy program. In addition, the agency operates two home-based early education programs, HIPPY (Home Improvement for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) and the Prenatal Plus Program, and the S.A.F.E. Kids program.

For more than 54 years, the agency has been expanding its services in order to meet the ever changing and growing needs of our community.
