Plaza Construction continued its tradition of corporate giving with its 9th Annual Golf Invitational at La Gorce Country Club benefiting Voices For Children Foundation, Inc. Tournament host Brad Meltzer, center, President of Plaza’s Southeast Region based in Miami, presented a check for $150,000 to VFC’s President & CEO Nelson Hincapie, and Gail Appelrouth, Immediate Past Chair. This year’s Platinum corporate sponsors included Advanced Millwork, Areda Construction, Capform, and Power Design. The Voices For Children Foundation enables the Guardian ad Litem Program to recruit, train and support volunteers to serve as the “Voice” for abused, abandoned and neglected children by advocating for their best interests in dependency court proceedings. Voices financial support also helps fulfill the children’s medical, educational and social needs.

In the South Florida region, Plaza dedicates its time to both local and national organizations.
