MIAMI, FL- Berger Singerman is pleased to announce that the firm was awarded the "Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year (Middle Market)" for its work on the HearUSA acquisition at the M&A Advisor's 6th Annual Turnaround Awards, held January 31 at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach.
The HearUSA acquisition by Siemens, which was represented by attorneys Paul Steven Singerman, Brian K. Gart, Debi Evans Galler, Robert W. Barron and David K. Black was nominated in multiple categories including "Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year (Middle Market)," "Cross-Border Deal of the Year (Middle Market)" and "Distressed M&A Deal of the Year (Upper Middle Market)." The deal was also nominated for "Sector Deal of the Year" in the Healthcare/Life Sciences category.
